Are they actually better than the rest? I know allen bradley still seems the most popular, I don't know why. What PLCs should I know for north america? So I'm planning on getting some experience with other PLC manufacturers and software. It's not hard for me to learn a new one, but when looking at job postings, it seems recruiters only think "oh, you don't know this specific PLC type, that means we can't hire you" I have been in the automation business for some time but I only know ABB PLCs (with codesys compiler and IEC61131 languages). ![]()
